I have some very important health news I would like to share with you. I have been diagnosed with cervical cancer, called glassy cell carcinoma which is a rare and aggressive cancer. It was caught after my yearly PAP test. After a PET scan indicated that the cancer had not appeared to have spread, I now need to proceed with a radical hysterectomy on July 1st, which could possibly remove the cancer. I have naturally felt very shocked by this diagnosis but the LORD has kept me in perfect peace and given me the grace to handle this news. I am currently processing this information and going through a grieving period about the implications of everything that is happening to my body. I don’t know if I will be healed but I am at peace because I know God has the very best for me.
I would strongly urge both my female and male friends to make sure that they are tested regularly and to be vigilant about their bodies, as of course early diagnosis can be life saving.
